The Regulation prescribes the threshold values for wastewater discharge and prohibitions for discharge of polluting substances into water; those highly sensitive territories to which increased requirements for the urban wastewater treatment apply, the criteria for determination, procedures for management and the boundaries of such territories; the procedures by which an operator must control the quantity of discharge of polluting substances, perform monitoring and provide the relevant information; and the procedures by which the State limited liability company “Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre” ensures public accessibility to the information.
