This Decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia lays down provisions governing school fruit scheme and supervision of supranational organizations of producers recognized in other member states of the European Community. The objective of school fruit scheme is to promote the consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables among pupils of primary schools. The scheme includes assisting schools to supply fresh fruit and vegetables for immediate use, supporting educational and promotional activities regarding the role of fruit and vegetables in healthy nutrition, publicity, monitoring and evaluating the impact of the scheme. This Decree is composed of 23 articles divided into the following Sections: School fruit scheme (Sec. 1); Supervisions of supranational organizations of producers (Sec. 2); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 3).
