The Forestry Seeds Act defines at the outset its scope of application. Article 2 contains a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as "seeds", "materials", "origin", etc. Then it deals with issues such as trade, import licences and control and exportation to third countries and related matters. The Act consists of 32 articles.
Article II of the above-mentionied Act amends the Forestry Act (BGBl. No. 440/1995) and article III amends the Fertilizers Act 1994 (BGBl. No. 513/1994).
