This Regulation prescribes the conditions for the placing on the market of feed for particular nutritional purposes (animal feed containing special ingredients and/or drugs) and establishes the list of approved uses of this type of feed.
This text further transmits into the Croatian legal system the rules contained in the following documents: Commission Directive 2008/38/EC of 5 March 2008 establishing the list of approved uses of feed intended for particular nutritional purposes; Commission Directive 2008/82/EC of 30 July 2008 and its amending Directive 2008/38/EC as regards the feed intended for support of renal function in case of chronic renal failure; Commission Regulation (EU) 1070/2010 of 22 November 2010 and its amending Directive 2008/38/EC on adding support for the metabolism of the joints in the case of osteoarthritis in dogs and cats.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
