The Ordinance issued by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Homeland Affairs, supplements the German Agricultural Statistics Act. It mandates the inclusion of additional data in the 2025 main land use survey pursuant to §§ 6–8 of the Agricultural Statistics Act. Specifically, the ordinance requires that survey characteristics under § 8(1) of the Act be further differentiated according to organic farming practices. For this purpose, “organic farming” is defined in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848.
