The Act aims at the promotion of electricity production from renewable energy sources and from underground gas with a view to contributing to environmental protection. It sets up the State authority competent in these matters and sets forth obligations and duties of legal persons and individuals involved in this particular sector. The Act is composed of the following four Sections: (1) Promotion of electricity produced from renewable energy sources; (2) Amendments to the Act on energy management; (3) Amendments to the Air Protection Act; (4) Entry into force.
